Chris established Jay City Finance in 2004. His experience, tenacious attitude and forward thinking have enabled him to build Jay City Finance into a brokerage respected not only by his clients, but also by an extensive portfolio of City and UK wide funders.

Ruth joined Jay City Finance in 2009 following a career in M&A. Working closely together, Chris and Ruth have striven to build a financial solutions brokerage, serving the UK’s SMEs, with integrity at the forefront of everything they do.

Dave has worked alongside Chris since the company started in 2004. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and runs his own Accountancy practice alongside his FD role at Jay City.

Martin has extensive experience as CEO of Close Brothers Specialist Asset Finance and in general within the leasing industry. Since joining Jay City in the summer of 2024 he has brought a wealth of calming knowledge and an additional injection of passion to the team.

Adam’s extensive experience, coupled with his substantial network across several industries, has enhanced the development and knowledge at Jay City since his arrival in early 2022. His presence has ensured that the company has continued and expedited its year upon year growth.

With over six years of experience in the asset finance and leasing industry, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Known for his strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first approach, Jack is dedicated to helping our vendor finance partners’ clients find the best financing solutions to meet their unique needs.”

Richard brings 20 years of Asset Finance expertise to Jay City, having held senior roles at Lombard, Siemens, Wesleyan, and Close Brothers, where he was most recently Sales Director. Now Structured Lending Specialist, Richard's proven leadership and industry insight will help drive continued growth and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Laura joined Jay City in 2022 following a successful career in financial services and now heads up our sales support team. Laura is an excellent manager who ensures that all queries and the administration of deals are handled effectively and efficiently by the sales support team.

Charlotte joined our sales support team at the beginning of 2025 and has extensive administration experience across the banking and hospitality sectors. Charlotte is a diligent and effective problem solver with a personable manner and thirst to learn new skills.

Angel is our most recent recruit to the team after an extended period of travelling. Her extensive experience in credit control has allowed her to make an easy transition into the world of Asset Finance. Angel is an efficient, friendly, and reliable professional with a strong focus on teamwork.
